1947 - Present Kashmir

Since independence, India and Pakistan have been locked in conflict over Kashmir.

Literature of post-1947 is highly influenced by traumatizing events like Indo-Pak wars, militant insurgency, the exodus of Kashmiri pandits,

the clash of Indian troops and local Kashmiris, and Removal of articles 370 & 35A.
